Below is an attempt to trace the various branches of the Pratten family. I suspect they all derive ultimately from
the Prattent family of Chew Magna. At the moment there are more than 30 separate unconnected branches with descendants
in the last two centuries. I am hoping to connect these branches together by tracing back from their sources, as listed
below. It would be interesting to do a DNA analysis of the branches. However some of the branches will not share a Y
chromosone with the main branch, as they are descended from Pratten daughters. I myself am descended
from Thomas Pratten of Bitton. - Graham Pratten
