- 1481 Edmund Danyell gentleman wife Grace Danyell executrix manor of Hoo superceded will
- 1486 Edmund Danyell 10/2/1486 under Great Seal pardon of all debts before 7/11/1485 to Edmund Danyell late of London late of Stoke Suffolk late of Denham etc
- 1498 Edmund Danyell of Stokenailand will dated 20/9/1498 (13th of Henry 7) proved 19/12/1498 mentions burial in Stoke Church beside Lord Berners the elder, church of Messynger, grey friars of Colchester, friars of Clare, wife Grace the rest and executrix, witnesses Thomas Swayne, vicar of Stokenailand, Sir Thomas Baker pste of said town, Richard Kenet gentleman, George Danyell junior and other.
- 1497 Edmund Danyell v George Danyell junior.

- 1509 Edmund Daniel son and heir of Thomas Lord Daniell married 1509 (24th of Henry 7) Grace daughter and heiress of Sir Richard Baynard of Messing Essex who died 2/1/1508 and widow of Thomas Langley [date 1509 is rubbish as Edmund died in 1498 see will below] - see Howard's Visitation.
- 1509 The Manor of Messing Barnard appears to have been granted by Richard de Reimes, to Roger de Mesing, with his daughter Amicia in marriage, but Roger was heir of Anketil de Messing, who had also held lands in Messing. Roger de Messing had a daughter, wife of Thomas Bainard, whence the Manor came to the Baynard family. Richard Baynard, dying 1473, left a daughter and heiress Grace, wife (2) of Edmund Danyell. The Manor passed to the Danyell family, the last of whom, John Daniell, sold it with the other Manors in 1582 to Thomas Diggs, who sold them to Christopher Chiborne - see Messing.
- 1509 Grace Danyell of Messing in parish of ? will dated 6/12/1508 proved 16/3/1508-9 mentions that she is to be buried in Stoke next to husband, her arms and her husbands hung at Messing, sons Thomas, George and Edward and daughters Jane and Katherine, residue to son John.
